My fiat setentio 1999 has no power steering, do I need to add extra steering on when doing manouvers?

I learnt to drive in a car with power steering, now my first car does not have this, when I do manouvers such as parallel parking will I need to add more steering on then I was taught to? my current car is a fiat secentio. Thanks.
