Should people on the dole by enforced to learn how to be civilised?

I completely understand where you are coming from but just need to air my grievance to your last sentence. they are not dossers due to living on council estates as it is not the estate that has made them in this way, a percentage is down to parenting and the rest is down to just god damn f*******g laziness. (that outburst is not direct at you) i genuinely think that these dossers should not be able to claim benefits, why should the majority of us have to go out to work all the hrs god sends in order to pay for a roof over our heads, food in our bellies, utility bills etc etc the list can go on. we as tax payers are paying these people to sit in the pub, enjoy a flutter on the horses etc etc. I think it is now time that the government decided that in order to receive benefit then there must be something in return as in road sweeping, bin collecting, jobs that the council charge us hugely for in our council tax. Then maybe not only will our tax be reduced but these dossers might gain some self respect and want to find a job. This is only noted at lazy spongers not people with disabilities or have a creditable reason for claiming.
