I'm Buying A Salon...Help Please?

My first business was started from the ground up, so purchasing an already operational business is a little nerve racking! What should I look into before and during the negotiation, what should I ask for and what should I expect her to ask of me? How should the transition be handled .. any info would be helpful!! Also, if anyone has an idea of inventory items I may have overlooked, let me know. Thanks!
