This ignment for my cl ask me who will prevail in the case. Joann is the estranged wife of Hector. Hector dies, but 3years ago he sold a piece of property using a quitclaim deed to the Miles family. After his death Joann applies to probate the estate as an independent administration, which she is granted. Soon after she finds out from her attorney about the quitclaim deed and sues the Miles family for one half of the value of the property. The Miles family files a suit against Joann and for the estate that Hector sold to them to obtain the clear title. Who will prevail in the case?
