My dog loves tug of war and knows it is a game. Why are there so many know it alls who claim tugofwar is bad?

Who are these ridiculous people who throw there opinions around like facts. Do they speak to dogs directly? If you are one of these people i would like to know where you got your info. My year old lab plays tug of war daily with me and is a perfectly behaved dog.
