How do i know if my gammon joint is cooked?

See if it's tender. If you can easily peirce w/ a fork, it's probably done. If not, keep the lid on and keep cooking. You coudl also bake it in a slow oven, in the pot (if the pot os overn-safe) at about 325�F for another hour or so.
